Wolves triumph again to reach 5-2

MAYWOOD, Neb. — Parker Johnston gained 210 yards on just 12 carries with three touchdowns while Maywood-Hayes Center rolled to a 55-28 win over Sandhills Valley Friday evening.

The Wolves (5-2) also featured Tyler Schleeman’s 181 rush yards. He carried 15 times including two TDs.

Devon Johnson had the highest success rate, carrying only five times to 92 yards and three more scores.

The Wolves broke away from a 21-14 first quarter while moving closer to a six-man state playoff spot.
