Hospital board reviews plans, building progress
McCOOK, Neb. — During their regular monthly board meeting Thursday, Community Hospital directors reviewed and approved the latest stage of the strategic planning annual process, a run-the-business report which is a compilation of the most critical operational measures of the hospital, and approved an updated CEO succession plan.
Board members learned that construction of the entrance to the new Rehabilitation Center is on hold until some steel can be built and is on site.
On the north side of the hospital, construction on the new Specialists Center and Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation continues.
Tall cranes have been setting steel beams, while a cement block garage for the mobile screening trucks is also being built.
Directors approved appointments/reappointments of the courtesy medical staff privileges, and appointments/reappointments of the telemedicine medical staff privileges.
Thank you notes were shared.
The board of directors will take a summer break and not meet in July.
