BROKEN BOW, Neb. — Pinnacle Bank’s 14-and-under baseball team saw its win streak stopped at eight with a 7-4 loss at Broken Bow Monday evening.

The Bow hosts somehow turned one hit into seven runs as five walks helped assist this attack.

McCook’s Jacob Gomez-Wilson ripped two hits of his own to double that team title and scored a run.

Alex Anthony drove home two runs while scoring one along with one hit. Kalyn Gaston added another run and Carter Larson one more RBI, but Pinnacle’s final comeback attempts fell just short.

The Bison team did top Lexington, 4-3, for their eighth win of this season Thursday evening.

Adam Dugger singled twice, drove home two runs and Gaston delivered two more hits.

Coleton Lentz launched a clutch double which led to an RBI.

Gomez-Wilson scored one more run as did Anthony.

Dugger pitched five innings for the win.
