MNB Seniors score a win in Plattsmouth tourney

PLATTSMOUTH, Neb. — The McCook National Bank Seniors finished their Legion baseball weekend of 2019 with an 8-7 win over Sutton Sunday afternoon.

MNB went 1-3 overall following earlier losses to Wahoo 7-5, 7-1 vs. Lees Summit (Mo.) and 6-1 vs. Plattsmouth in this Plattsmouth Tournament.

No individual stats or details were obtained before today’s press deadline.

The MNB Seniors were scheduled to play at Cozad tonight but it has been postponed due to wet field conditions.

MNB and the First Central Bank Juniors are still scheduled for home openers against Gothenburg’s Melons on Wednesday at the Jaycees Complex. Start times are 6 and 8 p.m.
