The family of Patrick J. and Joyce B. (Cross) Kennedy of Florida is requesting a card shower in honor of the couple’s 60th wedding anniversary on June 6, 2019. They were married at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Indianola, Neb., in 1959. They will be renewing their vows on Saturday, May 25, 2019, 10 a.m. at St. Catherine’s Church in Indianola with Joyce wearing her original wedding dress. Following the renewal, lunch will be served at Fuller’s Restaurant in McCook, Neb. Patrick graduated from Bartley High School in 1957, McCook Junior College in 1959 and the University of Nebraska in 1964. Joyce graduated from Bartley High School in 1958 and worked as a secretary to Lafayette D. Hurley, a lawyer in McCook and later became a secretary at the McCook Chamber of Commerce. Their family includes children, Michael L. Kennedy of Wichita, Kan., Troy D. Kennedy of Canton, Mich., Michelle R. Dillon of Palmetto Bay, Fla., and Thomas P.
