Southwest Nebraska Rifle and Pistol Club plans events
McCOOK, Neb. — Southwest Nebraska Rifle and Pistol Club plans a bowling pin shoot at 1 p.m. Sunday at the range north of the McCook Airport. There is a $2 target fee and categories include .22 long rifle, revolver and auto, .38 special revolver, 9 mm auto and big bore revolver and auto. Five pins, three runs, best two.
On Oct. 14, there will be a Club Bench Rest shoot, 1 p.m. with a $2 target fee. .22 long rifle, 50 yards, 25 shots for score, five shots for group/ centerfire rifle, 100 yards, 5 shots score, 5 shots group; military rifle, 100 years, five shots for score, five shots for group, issue iron sights and any other sights.
