Barto and Tenielle Yelkouni of McCook, Neb./Burkina Faso, West Africa, announce the birth of their daughter, Lilya Louise Nongawende Yelkouni, born Dec. 18, 2017, at Community Hospital in McCook.  She weighed 7 pounds and was 20 ¼ inches long. She has one sister, Briella.  Grandparents are Tim and Michelle Lytle of McCook, Jean-Baptist Yelkouni of Sogtenghin, Burkina Faso, West Africa. and the late Marie Tebda-Yelkouni. Lilya’s middle name, Nongawende, means “Love God” in Barto’s tribal language.
