90th birthday

The family of Betty Donohue of McCook is requesting a card shower in honor of her 90th birthday on Thursday, April 12, 2018. She was born in 1928 on a farm near Washington, Kan. She married James Donohue in 1952; he passed away in 1982. Betty and Jim moved to McCook in 1954.  She worked at Hillcrest for 11 years and at Hallmark for 33 years. She's been a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church for 64 years. Betty recounts one of her fondest memories is taking a trip to Washington, D.C. with her two daughters in 2003, where they visited the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.  Her greatest joy is her family and spending time with them. Her family includes children, Angela Plummer and husband, John of Centennial, Colo., the late James Donohue and his wife, Tracie of Boulder, Colo, who has since re-married, Jon Donohue and wife, Brenda of McCook, Greg Donohue and wife, DeDe of Evergreen, Colo., Danette Baxter and husband, David of Lakewood, Colo., and Farrell Donohue of Lakewood, Colo.; 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and niece, Linda Jones of Lawton, Okla.
