Megan Sina Conway and Max Thomas McShane, both of Lincoln, Neb., announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
Parents of the bride-to-be are Lois Ruggles Conway of McCook, Neb. and Jack Conway of Trenton, Neb. Grandparents are the late Lowell and Sina Ruggles and the late Jack and Florence Conway.
Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Tom and Susan McShane of Elkhorn, Neb. Grandparents are Delores Hoefs of Pender, Neb., and the late Virgil Hoefs and the late Willard and Jayne McShane.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Southwest High School and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, with bachelor’s of journalism degrees in broadcasting and journalism. She is the evening news anchor at KLKN-TV in Lincoln.
The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Elkhorn High School and the University of Nebraska-Omaha, with a bachelor’s of science degree in political science.
He is a dispatcher for Union Pacific Railroad in Omaha, Neb., and is also a member of the Nebraska Army National Guard.
An April 7, 2018, wedding is planned in Lincoln.
