Mobile Pantry set for McCook Feb. 8

McCOOK, Neb. — The next Mobile Pantry from the Food Bank for the Heartland will be Thursday, Feb. 8, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., on the Red Willow County Fairgrounds in the 1400 block of West Fifth in McCook.
Shoppers absolutely must bring their own boxes or bags, wagons or carts; there are no boxes available on site.
The elderly and handicapped are strongly encouraged to bring along some “muscle” to carry their boxes.
There is no charge and no income restrictions; anyone living in Nebraska can participate.
The goal of the Food Bank’s Mobile Pantry program is to provide food where there is a high need, but limited resources.
Mobile Pantries are coordinated locally by the Hitchcock County Pantry.
