Public meeting to Jan. 23 to review hospital plans

McCook, Neb. —Troy Bruntz, Community Hospital President & CEO, has announced the hospital will hold a public meeting at 4:30 pm on Tuesday, Jan. 23 in the Prairie View Conference Rooms at Community Hospital, 1301 East H Street, McCook, Nebraska.

The purpose of the meeting is to provide members of The Community Hospital Association and other members of the general public with information regarding the upcoming planning and construction of Project 1.

Project 1 will consist of converting and adding additional space for the visiting specialists clinic and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, remodeling the kitchen and laboratory, adding parking space for mobile testing trucks and additional parking for the public, converting the patient entrance for rehabilitation and adding a small expansion for pharmacy.

The hospital is working towards a summer groundbreaking date with the project to last approximately 24 to 30 months.

The meeting will be for public information and comment and will give the citizenry an opportunity to become more familiar with the project as well as its benefits to patient care and economic development in our region.

Representatives from Community Hospital and their architectural firm will be on hand to discuss any questions, comments, and/or concerns.
