GOODLAND, Kan. -- The McCook Bison landed three players to the 2017 Topside Tip-Off all-tournament teams.
On the boys’ team, the Bison were represented by seniors Hunter Potthoff and Clayton Stevens.
Potthoff finished the three-game weekend with 43 points, which came out to a 14.3 points-per-game average. His best outing came in the boys’ championship game when he scored 25 points, including five three-pointers, against Goodland, Kan.
Stevens was McCook’s most-consistent scorer in the tournament, as he reached double figures in all three games. He finished with 47 points for a 15.6 ppg average. Potthoff had 18 points in Saturday’s championship game and a personal-best 19 points in Friday’s semifinal win against Colby, Kan.
On the girls’ team, Jaden Bryant was the lone Lady Bison representative.
Bryant only played in McCook’s first two games but finished with 19 points on the weekend.
