Oxford man charged with child pornography possession

BEAVER CITY, Neb. — Information from the Holdrege Police Department led to the arrest Thursday, Oct. 12 of an Oxford man now charged in Furnas County with possession of child pornography.

Furnas County Sheriff Kurt Kapperman reports that bond for Brian J. Dusatko Sr., 59 years old, of Oxford. has been set at $25,000/10 percent. He will be arraigned in Furnas County Court Monday, Oct. 23.

In a news release from his office, Sheriff Kapperman indicates that Holdrege police contacted his office on Sept. 12 about an Oxford man who may be in possession of child pornography.

The sheriff's office contacted the Nebraska attorney general's office for assistance with the investigation, and on Oct. 12, officers executed a search warrant at Dusatko's residence at 208 E. Clarke Street. Kapperman reports that Dusatko was home at the time, and his cell phone was located in the house, searched and found to contain multiple photographs of young girls.

Possession of child pornography is a Class IV felony punishable by up to two years imprisonment and 12 months post-release supervision, or a $10,000 fine, or both.

Dusatko was arrested and incarcerated in the county jail in Beaver City.
