Varilek, Heuler wedding
MURRYSVILLE, PA. — Benjamin Varilek and Julieann Heuler exchanged wedding vows on Aug. 5, 2017, at Mother of Sorrows Church in Murrysville.
Parents of the bride are Joseph and JoAnn Heuler of Apollo, Pa. Grandparents of the bride are Julie Pitcavage of Edgeworth, Pa., the late Dr. James Pitcavage and Gerard and Betty Heuler of Ambridge, Pa.
Parents of the bridegroom are John and Carol Varilek of Culbertson, Neb. Grandparents are Mildred Varilek of Red Oak, Iowa (formerly of Stuart, Neb.) and the late Ed Varilek and the late Bill and Elaine Meeks.
Maid of honor was Jess Heuler, sister of the bride, of Apollo. Bridemaids were Ashley Nowicki of Pittsburgh, Pa., Cassie Agagliati of Wexford, Pa., Shelly Morgan of Mobile, Ala., and Jen Schweinsburg of Philadelphia, Pa.
The best man was Ross Oberg of Minden, Neb. Bridegroomsmen were J.D. Varilek of Bossier City, La., Brandon Varilek of Raymond, Neb., and Phillip Varilek of Vail, Ariz., brothers of the bridegroom and Jim Heuler of Oakmont, Pa., brother of the bride.
The flower girl was Grace Turner of Sewickoey, Pa.
Soloist for the ceremony was Sarah Heuler, sister-in-law of the bride.
Julieann is a graduate of Greensburg Central Catholic High School and obtained her BS degree in chemistry from St. Vincent College in Latrobe. Pa. She has worked as a developmental and research chemist for PPG Industries.
Benjamin is a 2004 graduate of Culbertson High School. He received his BS in exercise science with athletic training from the University of Nebraska-Kearney in 2008 and his master’s degree in applied exercise science and nutrition from Oklahoma State University in 2010. He is employed as an athletic trainer for St. Vincent College in Latrobe.
After a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple is making their home in Apollo, Pa.
