McCOOK, Neb. — After 12 years as a member of a Denver law firm, Alexis Davidson has returned to Southwest Nebraska and joined the firm of Goodwin Siegfried LLP in McCook as an associate attorney.
“I look forward to serving the legal needs of the people of this area,” said Davidson, who grew up in Culbertson and went on to receive bachelor’s, master’s and law degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Licensed to practice law in both Nebraska and Colorado, Davidson spent the early years of her legal career with David A. Bauer, P.C. in Denver, where she specialized in representing local and national banking institutions and credit unions, as well as handling civil litigation matters. Davidson started with the firm in 2005 as an associate attorney, and moved into the role of managing attorney in 2012 and compliance attorney in 2016 following the firm’s merger with a Sacramento, California firm.
In McCook, her law practice will be multi-dimensional, including business transactions, estate planning and real estate matters.
“It’s good to be back in my home area,” said Davidson, who is the daughter of Jim and Shari Lewis of Culbertson. Alexis’s family includes her husband, Matt Davidson, controller for GoLight, Inc., and their children Avery, 5; and Cooper, soon to be 3.
