BEAVER CITY, Neb. — Arlyn Lambert, 82, of Beaver City, died Tuesday (Oct. 3, 2017), at Christian Homes in Holdrege, Neb.
He was born on a farm northwest of Beaver City on Nov. 16, 1934, to Lawrence and Vera (Champlin) Lambert. He graduated from Beaver City high school in 1953. He married Dorothy Stalder in February, 1953. He farmed south of Beaver City. Here they raised three children: Larry Arlyn, Jacqueline Lynn and Charles Lee. He retired from farming in 1994.
He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Beaver City.
Survivors include his children, Larry and Brenda (Brown) Lambert of Grand Island, Neb., Jacque and Ivan Marshall of Kearney, Neb., and Chuck and Jaylene (Slama) Lambert of Bridgeport, Neb.; brothers, Ellis (Jean)Lambert of Holdrege, Neb., and Earl Lambert of Alma, Neb.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy (Stalder) Lambert; brother, Gene Lambert and sister, Phyllis Beins.
Visitation is Friday, Oct. 6, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and prior to the service at the church, at Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City.
Services are Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, 10:30 a.m. at Faith Community Church in Beaver City with Chuck Lambert officiating. Interment will be at the Mount Hope Cemetery, Beaver City.
