Bison score half-a-hundred plus seven at Alliance

ALLIANCE, Neb. — Senior Hunter Potthoff enjoyed his first touchdown of the season so much he scored two more barely a quarter into McCook's 57-7 win over Alliance Friday night.
Potthoff caught one TD pass, took an Alliance throw to pick-six paradise and then caught another from 48 yards as the Bison cruised to 4-0.
Alliance (0-4) delivered one shocking score on an 80-yard kickoff return, but amazingly totaled only 39 offensive yards against that relentless Bison defense.
Class B No. 2 McCook has now outscored its first four foes 168-29 entering next week's top 10 showdown with the York Dukes.
Junior Paxton Terry joined Potthoff intaking pass interceptions to touchdowns.
Fellow running back Gabe Sehnert later rumbled 25 yards for his team-leading ninth TD this season.
Junior Alec Bunger and sophomore Cameryn Berry ran to second-half touchdowns which featured a running clock through those final two quarters.
