AmFirst to become Pinnacle July 1

Friday, June 23, 2017

McCOOK, Neb. — On July 1, AmFirst Bank will change their name to Pinnacle Bank. Their locations in McCook, Benkelman and Hayes Center will join Pinnacle Bank’s current 61 branches in Nebraska.

As part of Pinnacle Bank, all customers will have access to expanded resources, including their multi-state ATM network to make withdrawals for free. Their multi-state branch network will also be available for personal banking customers and will be available for business customers on September 18, 2017.

All locations will keep their current hours. The branch employees who serve customers every day will remain the same after the name change.

Kent Craw will continue as the Market President for the McCook and Hayes Center locations, and Pat Rotherham will continue as the Market President for the Benkelman location. Both oversee leadership, including lending, business development and retail banking in their markets.

“We are excited to serve our customers as Pinnacle Bank,” Craw said.

“We have very similar cultures and core values, as well as a shared commitment to building strong customer relationships.”

The branches will also continue to be managed under the community banking model of local leadership and decision-making.

“From providing excellent customer service to taking care of our staff and being active in the communities we serve, this is a great fit for us,” Rotherham said. “Together with Pinnacle Bank, we’ll be able to enhance our customers’ banking experience with more locations and convenient services.”
