McCook man injured in single-vehicle rollover accident
McCOOK, Neb. — A McCook man was injured in a one-vehicle roll-over accident east of McCook early Saturday morning.
Nebraska State Patrol Trooper Bryan Walter reports that Joseph M. Troutman, 27, of McCook, was westbound on Highway 6&34 at 2:26 a.m., Saturday, in a construction zone east of McCook when he drove onto the shoulder of the highway. He struck several construction cones, crossed back over the centerline of the highway, drove up an embankment on the south side of the highway and the car, a 2000 Nissan Maxima, rolled.
Troutman was transported to Community Hospital of McCook with minor injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to Trooper Walter.
Walter was assisted on the scene by Nebraska Game and Parks, Red Willow County sheriff’s officers and McCook Police Department.
