MCC already sets summer hoops camps
McCOOK, Neb. – Coach Brandon Lenhart and the McCook Community College Indian basketball have announced the dates for their annual camps. This year MCCC will offer a K-10 Kids Camp, a One-Day Team Camp, and the annual MCC Summer League.
The K-10 Kids Camp will take place on May 31 through June 2. The morning session will be for Kindergartners through the 5th grade and will be from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The afternoon session is slotted for sixth to 10th graders and will run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The One-Day Team Camp is scheduled for June 3, and is for Junior Varsity and Varsity teams. Each team is guaranteed three games during the camp.
The MCC High School Summer League has been set up for all four Mondays in June.
The Summer League will include both varsity and junior varsity divisions with teams guaranteed two games each night, with a tournament on the last day.
“We are excited for another summer of McCook CC Basketball Camps in the beautiful Peter & Dolores Graff Event Center!” Lenhart remarked. We will put on one of the top basketball individual camps, team camp, and summer league in the entirestate.
“We really are looking forward to a record number campers in the event center, starting at the end of May. If anyone has any questions or concerns with anything camp related, please contact us,” he added.
