Tristan Darling and Wyatt Peterson of Denver, Colo., announced their engagement and upcoming wedding.
Parents of the bride-to-be are Kevin and Tami Darling of McCook, Neb. Grandparents are Gene and Jan Mahon of McCook, the late Gary Shepherd, John Darling of Casa Grande, Ariz., and the late Shirley Darling.
Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Mark and Leora Peterson of Gretna, Neb. Grandparents are the late Alfred and Orma Beckman and the late Ralph and Minnie Peterson.
The bride-to-be graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a degree in art. She is employed at 9News in Denver as a motion graphic artist.
The prospective bridegroom graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a degree in accounting and will be graduating from the University of Denver with his masters degree in taxation in March 2017. He is employed at Kardia LLC as the director of planning and operations.
An April 8, 2017, wedding is planned in Lyons, Colo.
The couple plans to honeymoon in the Caribbean and will continue to reside in Denver.
