Buffs, Red Devils named to all-league football teams
Rawlins County, Kan., and Decatur Community, Kan., football players were named to the 2016 Northwest Kansas League All-Conference team, which was released recently.
For Rawlins County, Kan., Cole Sramek (running back and defensive back), Will Ginther (linebacker), Tyler Beckman (kicker) and Wyatt Britt (punter) were named to the first team.
Maverick Green (quarterback and linebacker), Britt (tight end), Sohn Domsch (offensive line and defensive end), Will Crouse (offensive line), Will Ginther (center) and Nick Withington (split end) received second-team honors for the Buffs.
Cade Wurm was Decatur Community's, Kan., lone first or second-team selection, garnering second-team honors as a running back.
Rawlins County, Kan., finished the season 7-2, which included a first-round playoff loss to Spearville, Kan. Decatur Community, Kan., ended its season 2-6.
