Driving on tap for First Tuesday

McCOOK, Neb. -- The Buffalo Commons Storytelling and Music Festival planning committee will celebrate driving stories at their First Tuesday event on Oct. 4.

Long-time educator and driver's education instructor Warren Everts has taught many in McCook the art of operating a motor vehicle.

He has been jotting down his most memorable students and driving incidents and will be the featured speaker from 7 -- 8 pm at the Bieroc Café. Everyone has a story for this theme. Drivers, passengers, DMV and law enforcement are all encouraged to attend and share theirs. As always, those who prefer to sit and listen are welcome as well.
