COLBY, Kan. -- Elizabeth "Liz" Rall, 91, died Thursday (Aug. 18, 2016), at Citizens Medical Center in Colby.

She was born June 13, 1925, to Albert and Mary (Koch) Heintze in Sharp, Texas. She grew up in Milam County, Texas and attended school in Sharp, Texas. She married Norman Rall on Sept. 9, 1945, in Sharp. She lived on a farm south of Rexford, Kan., and later moved to Colby.

She was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hoxie, Kan.

She was preceded in death by parents, Albert and Mary Heintze; husband, Norman Rall; brother, Ludy Heintze; and sisters, Eda Gruellich, Katie Webb, Annie Anderson, Hattie Eichenhorst and Augusta Prevost.

Survivors include her children, Donald (Colleen) Rall of Rexford, Jerry (Chrys) Rall of Selden, Maxine Ross of Rexford, Connie (David) Moos of Byers, Colo., and Lori (Lad) Truetken of Selden; brothers, Paul Heintze of Rockdale, Texas and Albert (Bernice) Heintze of Temple, Texas; sister, Bobbie Eichenhorst of Baytown, Texas; 14 grandchildren and 15 great- grandchilden.

Services were today, Aug. 22, 2016 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hoxie with the Rev. Robert Alexander officiating. Interment is at the Rexford Cemetery in Rexford, Kan.
