Artist and photographer Norma and Jack Stevens, of McCook, display the print, "Indianola Elevator," and photograph, "Old House," that they have donated to a fund-raising raffle for McCook Habitat for Humanity. The Habitat raffle also includes two tickets donated by MNB Investments to the Nebraska Cornhusker football game against Minnesota on Saturday. Nov. 12. Ticket sales for the raffles kick off with a freewill donation barbecue to benefit Habitat scheduled during MNB's "Hot Summer Nights" concert Thursday, Aug. 11, at 6:30 p.m. in Norris Park. The Kansas City island rock bank, "Soca Jukebox," (Soul Calypso) will share the bandshell stage with "Threefold." Proceeds from the raffles will help finance a Habitat home build proposed for construction in 2017. Ticket sales will run through McCook's Heritage Days celebration the last weekend of September; watch for ticket sales locations, to be determined.
