Voting deadline

Friday, July 1, at 7 p.m. CT is the deadline to vote for "cover critter" dog and cat and to include photographs of pets in the 2017 "Dogs and Cats of McCook" calendar to be printed by the Cat Pack, fund-raisers and supporters of the McCook Humane Society and animal shelter. Photo submissions, contest payments and voting must be uploaded to the contest website at http://www.gogophotocontest.com/thecatsandogsofmccook, before 7 p.m., Friday. Each photo submission costs $5. Each vote costs $1, with a minimum of five votes and $5 per credit card transaction. Voting can be done 'round the clock; there is no limit to the number of votes someone can cast. All proceeds from the contest voting and the sale of the calendars go to the McCook Humane Society.
