Alexis Popp photographed this tornado in front of her Indianola home about 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Red Willow County Sheriff Alan Kotschwar said Dept. Mahlon Lofton watched one funnel cloud and then another touchdown about two to three miles southeast of Indianola, between Indianola and Bartley, starting about 6:30 p.m., Sunday. Sheriff Kotschwar said he watched the second tornado start, and although it appeared thinner than the first, the debris cloud that it created on the ground was larger. The storm system moved north into Frontier County, he said, where another tornado was reported in rural areas north of Stockville. Neither Kotschwar's nor Frontier County Sheriff Dan Rupp's offices have received reports of damage from the tornados. Anyone with damage is encouraged to report it to Kotschwar's office at (308) 345-1850, or to Rupp's office at (308) 367-4411. (Courtesy photo)
