Ricketts to speak at Todd Becker Foundation's annual banquet
KEARNEY, Neb. -- The Todd Becker Foundation announced today that Gov. Pete Ricketts will join the line-up of speakers for their 11th Annual Fundraising Banquet on February 1, 2016 in Kearney. Gov. Ricketts will join nationally syndicated radio host, Janet Parshall, along with special guest Attorney General Doug Peterson for "Truth. The greatest love," which serves as the Todd Becker Foundation's major fundraising event. Since 2005, the Todd Becker Foundation has taken the tragic story of Todd Becker and used it to reach public high schools across the Midwest with the life-changing Word of God.
The annual fundraising event will take place at the Younes Convention Center in Kearney, Neb. The event will include a special book signing reception with Parshall, a silent auction beginning at 6:30 p.m., and a dinner following at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6 p.m.. Created following the death of Kearney High School senior Todd Becker, the Foundation is a Christian ministry that travels throughout the Midwest and puts on an assembly presentation for high school students. Since its inception in 2005, they have visited over 350 public high schools across an 11 state region with their message that challenges students to consider where their life is headed, both today and for eternity.
