Partial cast named for 'Oz'
McCOOK, Neb. -- Director Christy Stevens said she was pleased with the large number of persons who auditioned for Southwest Nebraska Community Theatre's spring show, "Oz."
She is awaiting confirmation from several cast members, but released the names of several who have agreed to the two months of intense rehearsals that will be required.
Shelby Stevens will be Dorothy, Kathy Latta will be Aunt Em and Glinda. Jim Coady will be uncle Henry and Emerald Guard. Malcolm Hinze will be Zeke and farmhand.
Playing the three special characters are: Tyler Rambali as the Cowardly Lion, Charles Coleman as the Tinman and Sean Tolliver as the Scarecrow. JeriLynn Karr is West Witch and Miss gulch. Ladd Wendelin will be the professor and Oz.
Oz will be performed March 13, 15, 18, 19, 20 at the Fox Theatre and tickets go on sale March 1 at Hershberger Music and Janssen Kool Honda.
Prices are $15 for adults, $10 for grades 6-12 and $5 below.
