Volunteer firefighter Larry Davis carries a dog from a smoke-filled mobile home on the 1500 block of West 10th in McCook, Nebraska, this morning. Several pets were given oxygen and taken to a veterinarian for treatment after firefighters responded to the scene about 10:40 a.m. today. The owners were apparently not home at the time.
