Benefit poker run set Aug. 29

McCOOK, Neb. -- The Sinners Sanctified Motorcycle Ministry plans a benefit poker run Saturday, Aug. 29, to benefit Dennis and Cathy Shannon. Dennis has a rare type of skin cancer called cutaneous T-cell lymphoma and will be undergoing many trips to Denver for full body radiation therapy.

The ride will begin at the middle Casey's in McCook with check-in at 10 a.m., kickstands up at 11 a.m.

The route will start in McCook and head to Curtis and then Stockville, back to Bartley and back to McCook.

A free-will barbecue will follow the ride. Each poker hand is $10 and cars are welcome. All proceeds will go to Dennis and Cathy Shannon.
