Barbecue fundraiser for Community Chest set

McCOOK, Neb. -- The McCook Community Chest will be offering a free-will donation barbecue dinner at MNB's Hot Summer Nights Concert at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13 in Norris Park. The group will be serving pulled pork sandwiches, chips, a cookie and bottled water during the concert. Proceeds will be used to support the 13 organizations and governmental entities served by Community Chest throughout the communities of Southwest Nebraska.

MNB's Hot Summer Nights Concert will begin at 6:30 PM with Ginger ten Bensel from Cambridge, followed by Kansas Music Hall of Fame Inductees, Jimmy Dee and the Fabulous Destinations at 7 p.m.
