Rifle, pistol shoots set for Sundays

McCOOK, Neb. The Southwest Nebraska Rifle and Pistol Club plans shoots Sundays, Aug. 2, 9 and 16 at 1 p.m. each day at the range north of McCook Ben Nelson Regional Airport. Target fee is $2 each day.

A bowling pin shoot is set this Sunday for .22 auto and revolver, 9 mm auto, .38 special revolver, big bore auto and revolver.

Aug. 9 events include a smallbore bench rest at 50 yards, 10 shots for score, five shots for group; centerfire bench rest at 100 yards, five shots for score, five shots for group.

Aug. 16 will include military rifles, five shots each for score, group and offhand group, and a World War II sniper rifle match for the same.
