The family of Gary and Rosalie Hastings of Gering, Nebraska, is requesting a card shower in honor of the couple's 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 7. They were married in 1965 in McCook, Nebraska. They both grew up in Hayes Center, Nebraska, where they raised their family. Gary worked for Hayes Center Public Schools and Rosalie at AmFirst Bank, until they moved in 1994. Their family includes children, Kim Loomis, Jodi and husband, Joe Benson, all of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, Bob and wife, Traci Hastings of Gering; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
