Terra Jean Bishop and Cameron Morrison Higgins of Palisade, Nebraska, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Parents of the bride-to-be are Gregg and Jeanne Bishop of Hayes Center, Nebraska.

Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Patrick and Deb Higgins of Amherst, Nebraska.

Grandparents of the couple are Jack and Shirley Bishop of Culbertson, Nebraska, James and Colleen Higgins of Halsey, Nebraska, the late Vincent and Margaret Broz and the late Leland and Marilyn Fox.

The bride-to-be graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a bachelor of arts in education degree with a middle grades teaching endorsement. She works at Wauneta-Palisade Public Schools.

The prospective bridegroom graduated from Northeast Community College in Norfolk, Nebraska, with an associate of applied science degree in utility line. He works at Southwest Public Power District in Palisade, Nebraska.

A Sept. 12, 2015, wedding is planned at Kearney, Nebraska, at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
