HOLDREGE, Neb. -- Genevieve J. "Gen" Kuck, 82, of rural Gosper county, Nebraska (formerly of Pablo, Montana), died Sunday (July 26, 2015), at the Phelps Memorial Health Center in Holdrege, Nebraska.
She was born Oct. 16, 1932, in rural Red Willow County, Nebraska, to Walter and Lucille (Wagner) Weber. She attended school in Trenton, Nebraska, and graduated from McCook High School in McCook, Nebraska, in 1949. She attended Kearney State College. She married Bruce Kuck on Aug. 21, 1950. She and her husband lived in Gosper County, where they farmed. In 1974, the family moved to the Valley View area near Polson, Montana, where the couple ranched for many years.
After her husband's death in 2011, she moved back to Gosper County and moved to Elwood in 2015.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son-in-law, Bob Fouts; sister-in-law, Jaunita Weber; brothers-in-law, Paul Cotton and Bill Elley; and nephews, Tim Elley, Ronald Kuck and Donald Kuck.
Survivors include her children, Rose Fouts of Eaton, Colorado, Pamela Campbell and husband, Ken of Smithfield, Nebraska, Bruce, Jr. "Chip" and wife, Kristi of Bertrand, Nebraska, and Cindy March and husband, Jeff of Laramie, Wyoming; brothers, Leroy Weber and wife, Henrietta of Washington and Larry Weber and wife, Suzan of Denver, Colorado; sisters, Sherry Cotton of McCook, Nebraska, and Jean Elley of Alabama; sister-in-law, Lola Davidson and husband, Mark of Smithfield; brother-in-law, Alfred Kuck and wife, Marie of Smithfield; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and many more family and friends.
Private family services and inurnment will be at a later date.
There is no visitation; cremation was chosen.
