RAVENNA, Neb. -- Sheril Kay Buethe, 63, of Ravenna, died Saturday (July 25, 2015), at Good Samaritan Society of Ravenna.

She was born on Feb. 3, 1952, to Orville A. and Betty (Clements) Buethe.

She grew up on a farm by Bruning, Nebraska, and moved with her parents to Stamford, Nebraska, in the 1970s. She worked at the café in Oxford, Nebraska, and then worked for different nursing homes in Holdrege and Beaver City, Nebraska, and Olathe, Kansas. Later she moved to the Good Samaritan Center in Ravenna.

She was preceded in death by her infant son, Michael Eugene in 1983; her parents; and twin brother and sister, Robert and Barbara.

She is survived by her sisters, Shirley Park of Grand Island, Nebraska, and Joyce and husband, Ed Kempf of Olathe, Kansas; brother, Wayne Buethe of North Platte, Nebraska; nieces and nephews, along with great-nieces and nephews.

Cremation was chosen so there will be no viewing or visitation. Memorial services will be at a later date at the Good Samaritan Center in Ravenna. A private inurnment will be at the Stamford Cemetery in Stamford, Nebraska.

Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
