MILFORD, Neb. -- Aileen Charlotte Yant was born to Jenni-Lin (Moore) and Shayne Yant on March 20, 2015 at Memorial Hospital in Seward, Nebraska, and went to be in the arms of Jesus. She died suddenly at her home on June 6, 2015, at the age of 2 1/2 months.

Aileen loved to snuggle, smiled often and was called "snugglebug" because of her constant need to be loved and snuggled. Shayne was her warm blanket companion. Aileen had a smile for everyone who was with her.

She is survived by her parents, Jenni-Lin (Moore) and Shayne Yant; brother, Connor; grandparents, Lisa and husband, Jim Moore of Wilber, Nebraska, Culleen and Alan Bauer of Seward, and Lennis and Wayne Yant of Abilene, Kansas; great-grandparents, Tom and Corliss Mellas of Cottonwood, Arizona, Janet and Gary Yocum of Detroit, Kansas, Erma Yant of Sherwood, Arkansas, and John and Virginia Bauer of McCook, Nebraska; uncle and aunt. Joe and Jessie Yant of Seward; cousins, Reece and Declan Yant of Seward; aunt, Brandy Yant of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and several other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorials may be given to the family for designation at a later time and sent to c/o Alan Bauer, 434 Lindell Ave., Seward, NE 68434.

A celebration of Life for Aileen Charlotte Yant will be Saturday, July 4, 2015, at her home near Milford.
