TRENTON, Neb. -- Roger Evan Woodraska passed away Friday, June 12, 2015, at his home in Trenton. He was 57 years old.
Roger was born on Sept. 22, 1957, at McMinnville, Oregon, to parents, Glenn Leonard and Darlene Rae (Moon) Woodraska. He graduated from high school.
On Sept. 10, 1998, he was united in marriage to Bessie Bell Olin at the Church of God in Trenton. They made their home in Trenton.
Roger worked for Carl Whitney Sand and Gravel, drove trucks over-the-road and later became the manager of Lakeside Sand and Gravel in Trenton, where he was working at the time of his death.
Some of Roger's favorite pasttimes included fishing and hunting, especially prairie dog hunting. He was a diehard NASCAR fan, especially when his favorite driver, Jimmie Johnson, was racing. He was also an Oregon Duck football fan and loved spending time with his dog, Zuella.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and sister, Debra Woodraska.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie Woodraska of Trenton; sons, Mike Woodraska and wife, Sarah, and their children, Tyler and Sarah, of Watertown, South Dakota, Sean Woodraska of Indiana, and Jim Allen, Jr. and fiancé, Sheryl, and his children, Daniel, Brea, and Aiden of South Dakota; brothers, Robin, Russell and Ronald (Kathy), all of Oregon; sisters, Linda of Hawaii, Carla and Julie of Oregon; five grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.
Memorials may be given in his name.
Memorial services will be Saturday, June 20, 2015, 11 a.m. at the Church of God in Trenton with Jim Jones officiating. A private family inurnment will be at a later time.
