OBERLIN, Kan. -- Floyd L. Lotker Jr., 94, died Sunday (May 10, 2015), at Cedar Living Center in Oberlin.
He was born March 14, 1921, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Floyd and Edma (Mix) Lotke Sr. He graduated from St. John's Military School in Salina, Kansas.
He served in the United States Merchant Marine in World War II.
He married Helen Dorothea E. "Dottie" Forrester on June 16, 1943. He was a farmer.
He was a member of St. Alban's Episcopal Church in McCook, Nebraska, the Masonic Lodge, Shriners and Order of Eastern Star.
He was preceded in death by wife Dottie; parents, Floyd and Edna Lotker Sr.; daughter, Jackie Rae Lotker; brother, William Lotker; and grandson, Jacob Wasson.
Survivors include chldren, Floyd Lotker III (Khadine) of Redondo Beach, California, Sherri Shuler of Oberlin and Laurie Wasson (James) of Oberlin; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services are Saturday, May 23, 2015, 10:30 a.m. at the Oberlin Cemetery. Interment is at the Oberlin Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday, May 22, 2015, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given in his name to Decatur County Amusement Authority or Decatur County Museum & Oberlin Library. Online condolences may be shared at www.paulsfh.com
