HOLBROOK, Neb. -- Roger Lee Luke, 57, of Holbrook, died Saturday (April 18, 2015), at Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook, Nebraska.

He was born July 15, 1957, to Virgil and Leona (Fisher) Luke in Holdrege.

He attended grade school in Mascot, Nebraska, and graduated in 1975 from Oxford High School in Oxford, Nebraska. He married Shari Misterek and they later divorced. He worked for Eldon Reese of Reese Trucking for the past 15 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Arapahoe, Nebraska.

He was preceded in death by his parents and niece, Amy Luke

He is survived by his daughter, Alicia Bergstrom of Franklin, Nebraska; brothers, Gary Luke of Hastings, Nebraska, Dave and Vicky Luke of Curtis, Nebraska, and Brad Luke of Oxford; niece, Becky and husband, Jason Stone of Republican City, Nebraska, nephews, BJ and Aliesha Luke of Cambridge, Nebraska, Kale Luke of Pindale, Wyoming and Conner Luke of Arapahoe; and several great- nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Arapahoe with the Rev. Becky Saddler officiating. Interment will be at the Oxford Cemetery at Oxford. Memorials may be made in his name to help with funeral expenses.
