CURTIS, Neb. -- Gardeners and local foods producers can again rent a garden plot for the 2015 season at the NCTA Community Garden in Curtis.
Horticulture Club students sponsor the garden plots located at the west end of the old football field, said Tee Bush, horticulture professor. Plots are ready to use now.
Sizes are 10 foot by 20 foot plot for $30 or a 10 foot by 10 foot for $15. Proceeds support the student club.
The NCTA Farmers Market begins September 5 after students return to college for the fall semester. Booth space will be rented for $30, or for $15 to individuals or groups who have a Community Garden plot. The Farmers Markets will be each Saturday at the Curtis City Park.
