SELDEN, Kan. -- Roger Emigh, 50, died Monday April 6, 2015, at Jetmore, Kansas,
He was born April 26, 1964, in Hoxie, Kansas, to Gary and Shirley (Rogers) Emigh. He was raised in Selden and attended Golden Plains Junior-Senior high and auctioneer school in Mason City, Iowa.
He was an auctioneer and worked for Pratt Livestock and Winters Livestock in Dodge City, Kansas. Over the years, he also worked for Farm and Ranch Reality in Colby, Kansas, Brooks Reality in McCook, Nebraska and Johnson Reality in Oberlin, Kansas and was an auctioneer for Imperial Livestock, both sale barns in McCook, Oberlin Livestock, Hoxie Sale Barn and Plainville Livestock.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clyda and Lyle Emigh and maternal grandfather, W. A. Rogers.
Survivors include his parents, Gary and Shirley Emigh of Selden; son, Taten Emigh of Colby, Kansas; brothers, Russ and Kyle Emigh of Selden; and sister, Lori and husband, Mark Miller of Rexford, Kansas.
Services are Friday, April 10, 2015, 2 p.m. at Golden Plains Junior/Senior HIgh in Rexford with the Rev. Cyd Stein officiating. Interment is at the Selden Cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Pauls Funeral Home in Selden.
