ARAPAHOE, Neb. -- William L. Stagemeyer, 47, of Omaha, Nebraska, died Thursday (March 19, 2015), at his home.

He was born on Oct. 23, 1967, in Oxford, Nebraska, to Owen and Shirley (McMains) Stagemeyer. He graduated from Arapahoe High School in 1986. After attending college, he moved to Lincoln, Nebraska, and worked at Diamond Vogel Paint. In 1991, he worked for Glidden Paint in the commercial/wholesale division. He later moved to Omaha and worked for Wesco Electrical Wholesale Company. In 2007, he and his business partner started "Husker Winlectric Company."

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and nephew, Austin Anderson.

Survivors include his daughter, Emily Stagemeyer of Omaha; parents, Owen and Shirley Stagemeyer of Arapahoe; sister, Linda and husband, J.D. Anderson of Arapahoe; brothers, Mark and wife, Julie Stagemeyer of Arapahoe and Jeff and wife, Kristin Stagemeyer of McCook, Nebraska; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are Saturday, March 28, 2015, 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Arapahoe with Rev. James Moshier officiating. Interment is at Arapahoe Cemetery in Arapahoe.

Visitation is Friday, March 27, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Wenburg Funeral Home in Arapahoe.
