ARAPAHOE, Neb. -- Edith Marie Biesecker, 89, of Arapahoe, died Thursday (March 19, 2015), at the CA Mues Good Samaritan Center in Arapahoe.

She was born in Beaver City, Nebraska. on April 8, 1925, to W.E. and Ethel (Harmon) Shellenbarger.

She married Wayne Biesecker on June 26, 1948. They were married for 53 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne; and daughter. Theda.

She is survived by her children, Phillip and wife, Cathy Albrecht Minard of North Platte, Nebraska, Gloria Biesecker of Indiana; daughter-in-law, Loretta Burns of McCook, Nebraska; five grandchildren: 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services are Monday, March 23, 2015, 10:30 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Arapahoe with the Rev. Becky Saddler officiating. Interment will be at the Arapahoe Cemetery. Memorials may be given in her name to the First United Methodist Church of Arapahoe.

Viewing and visitation is Sunday, March 22, 2015, from 1 to 8 p.m. at the Wenburg Funeral Home of Arapahoe and prior to the service at the church.
