LITTLETON, Colo.-- Dalton L. Strickland, 61, formerly of the Arapahoe and Beaver City, Nebraska area, died Feb. 21, 2015, at his home in Littleton.

He was born March 5, 1953, to Clifford H. and Bonnie J. (Helton) Strickland in McCook, Nebraska.

He lived southwest of Beaver City with his parents and brothers. As he grew older, the family moved to the community of Arapahoe, along with brief periods of residing in Arcadia, Kearney, and Lexington, Nebraska. He worked at Lockheed Martin as an electrical engineer.

He married Hattie Sue Ware on April 21, 1981. On Dec. 9, 2013, he married Dinna Ramos of Los Banos, Laguna, Philippines.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Dinna Ramos of Los Banos, Laguna, Philippines; children, Sarah June and Mike Nicholls Colorado Springs, Colorado; step-daughter, Michelle Brown of Gulf Port, Mississippi; brothers, Doug and Deena Strickland of North Loup, Nebraska, Richard and Marlene Strickland of Lakewood, Colorado and Darwin Strickland of Arapahoe, Nebraska; sister, Dalis Strickland of Arapahoe; aunt, Lila Adams of Arapahoe; and two grandchildren.

Memorial services are Monday, March 9, 2015, 10:30 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Arapahoe with the Rev. Becky Saddler officiating. Inurnment is at Mount Hope Cemetery in Beaver City.
