COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Longtime Goodland, Kansas, resident Virginia L. Wilkinson, 90, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

She was born Feb. 24, 1924, at Kirk, Colorado, the daughter of Alice Lillian (Dillon) and Elmer Havens. On July 18, 1942, she and Lloyd Wilkinson were married at St. Francis, Kansas.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Lloyd Wilkinson, Sr.; two sons, Lloyd "Bud" Wilkinson and Larry Wilkinson; one daughter-in-law, Janice Wilkinson; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Julianna, and Steven Scarrow and Tracy Wilkinson; one great-granddaughter, Brittani Daily; and two brothers, Don Havens and Ralph Havens.

Surviving family includes two daughters, Ferma Scarrow and her husband, Cecil of McCook, Nebraska; Sandy Keister and Bob Evans of Goodland; daughter-in-law, Cindy Wilkinson of Sharon Springs; six grandchildren, Kevin (Kelly) Scarrow of Shawnee; Jacqueline (Brian) Williams of Lincoln, Nebraska; Allen (Jennifer) Scarrow of Sugarland, Texas; Derek Keister of Emporia; Stefanie Keister of Denver, Colorado; Scott Wilkinson of Allen, Texas; seven great-grandchildren, Adam (Lizeth) Daily of Lincoln, Nebraska; Larissa Daily (Majok Riak) of Lincoln, Nebraska; Kylie Scarrow of Sugarland, Texas; Midnite, Rage, and Daily Keister of Emporia; Malcom Wilkinson of Allen, Texas; Devin Keister of Denver, Colorado; Trevor Geist and fiancée, Jordan Snide of Wichita; three step-granddaughters, JaLissa Williams of Lincoln, Nebraska; Heather Williams and Ashley Menard of Hillsboro, North Carolina; Becky (Chad) Plummer of Manhattan; seven step-great-grandchildren, Kane and Jax Daily of Lincoln, Nebraska; Riley and Leah Plummer of Manhattan; Romeo, MyKaela, and Diontre` Menard of Hillsboro, North Carolina; two brothers James Havens of Stratton, Colorado; and Leslie Havens and his wife, Tene of Montrose, Colorado; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. MT at Koons Chapel in Goodland, with Dr. Chet Ross officiating. Burial will follow in the Goodland Cemetery.

Friends may share their respects on Friday, from 3 to 6 p.m. MT, at Koons Chapel.
