BENKELMAN, Neb. -- Velma Hiatt, 95, longtime resident of Benkelman died Sunday (Feb. 8, 2015), at the Sarah Ann Hester Nursing Home in Benkelman.

Survivors include children, Marilyn Clark, Toby Hiatt and Charlie Hiatt of Benkelman; son-in-law, Bob Smith of St. Francis, Kansas; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are Thursday, Feb.12, 2015, 10 a.m. (MT) at the Benkelman Community Building, Benkelman with the Rev. Sheila Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at the Benkelman Cemetery.

Visitation is before the services on Thursday morning.

Memorials may be given in her name.
