MOOREFIELD, Neb. -- Larry Max Ingram, 71, of Moorefield, Nebraska, died Dec. 24, 2014, at Linden Court in North Platte.
He was born Dec. 7, 1943, in McCook, Nebraska, son of Lovell Max and Ruth Elaine (Cochran) Ingram.
Larry grew up in Bartley, Nebraska, where he attended school and graduated from Bartley High School. Following high school, he attended McCook Junior College. Larry worked as a truck driver and farmed and ranched. He married Margaret Ann Preseler on July 31, 1993, in Broomfield, Colorado. In 2003, they made their home in Stockville.
Larry was a member of Jaycees. He enjoyed his cattle, Big Red Football, Denver Broncos football, grandkids and athletics.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Ann Ingram of Moorefield; three sons, Greg (Leah) Ingram of Greeley, Colorado, Monte (Tamy) Ingram of of Eaton, Colorado, Scott (Megan) Ingram of Parker, Colorado; one daughter, Lori Ingram of Johnstown, Colorado; step-sons, Chadd and Wade Castor, both of Broomfield, Colorado, step-daughter, Angie (Larry) Durner of Bartley; two sisters, Linda (Tom) Hoegemeyer of Lincoln, Nebraska, and LeeAnne (Ben) Ingram of Washington, Utah; nine grandchildren, Max, Tyson, Sara, Taylor, Colton, Kennedi, Kacie, Hayes and Quinn; seven step-grandchildren, Hailey, Beau, Brady, Andy, Neal, David and Joey; and a host of family and friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Elaine Ingram.
Visitation was at Blase-Wetzel-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Curtis, Nebraska, on Sunday, Dec.28, 2014.
Services were today at First United Methodist Church in with Rev. Bonnie Forney officiating.
Burial followed in the Arbor Cemetery, Stockville, Nebraska.
Memorials may be given to the Frontier County Fair or Arbor Cemetery, Stockville, Nebraska.
