BEAVER CITY, Neb. -- MerryAlice E. Smith, 82, of Holdrege, Nebraska, died Wednesday (Nov. 26, 2014), at Holdrege Memorial Homes Assisted Living in Holdrege.

She was born on July 25, 1932, in Riverton, Nebraska, to Louis Charles and Alma (Terrell) Fuller.

She married Wendell Smith on Sept. 11, 1953, and they made their home in Beaver City. The last few years she lived in Holdrege.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Eugene and Donny Fuller; and sister, Darlene "Dottie" Fuller.

Survivors include her daughter, Kim and husband, James Largent of Norton, Kansas, sons, Allen and wife, Shirley Smith of Beaver City and Kendell and wife, Becky Smith of Broken Bow, Nebraska; sister, Goldie and husband, Wendell Wentling of Hendley, Nebraska; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at the Faith Community Church in Beaver City with the Rev. Steve Sturtevant officiating. Inurnment will be at Hendley Cemetery, Hendley, Nebraska. There will be no viewing or visitation. Wenburg Funeral Home of Beaver City, Nebraska, is in charge of the arrangements.
